Linking101.com's Link Review:February 2003 Review: "Mike's Marketing Tools-The Best Internet Marketing Tools & Software" To do well on the web, you need to have a quality website and you need to market your product/service/website. I get a lot of question about how to make a website better. There are a ton of websites out there, dedicated to this topic, one that I have found to be very user friendly and informative is Mike's Marketing Tools. Originally this review was only going to cover Michael Wong's ebook: Search Engine Optimization Strategies: Top 30 Search Engine Optimization & Submission Strategies For Dummies, but I thought it would be more informative to cover a number of his other on-line activities. I want to thank Michael Wong for providing a copy of his ebook for the purpose of this review. Website:
These are Michael's own words from his website-talking about why he did what he did. Mike's Marketing Tools website is broken up into a number of different areas: link popularity, marketing tips, ecommerce software, keywords, etc. He has lot of valuable software reviews, and links to free services and other websites. Michael has covered and covers a lot of marketing material and the website is updated frequently. I find his website well designed, easy to navigate, and very user friendly. If you are looking for a review of a product, such as Optilink, WebPositionGold, ARELIS, etc. give Michael's website a try. Odds are, he has tried it out. I have come to trust Michael's opinion on the subject of marketing, so you can too. Newsletter: Another facet of the website, is his newsletter. His Marketing Tools Newsletter, has just changed and is now html-based and provides webmasters an easy way to keep up with what new with the search engines, marketing techniques, and Mike's Marketing Tool website. Michael provides easy to understand facts and tips on the search engines and his newsletter is not packed with ads. I subscribe to it and find it helpful. Services: Well Michael is an SEO expert and he does what he says.
I could not say it any better than Mike did on his website. If you are looking for help, he does provide free quotes at: http://www.seo-quote.com. Submission Strategies For Dummies Ebook: Well, this was the whole reason behind the review, so last, but not least is Michael Wong's It is in pdf format and costs only $37. The book is 200+ pages, that contain a ton of valuable information on how to better create or re-create your website to be seen online. Topics covered are creating high ranking content-rich doorway pages, how to find out what keywords to use, search engine robots, search engine submissions, directories, link and site popularity, robot.txt files, meta tags, and MORE. It was written for the novice to learn more of the basics so they could do it themselves or to help a webmaster understand what is being done by someone they hire to do the work. One great aspect of the book is the extensive glossary of terms that appears at the end. I do not think that enough "experts" explain or define the terms they use. I could go on forever, but simply put, this is an excellent marketing book, which really covers alot of information and the price is right. There is practical easy to follow information that any webmaster needs to know to have a successful online presence.
